A true lover of the prints of the floating world, called “Ukiyo-e” in Japanese, the artist draws a lot from this current emphasizing tradition and nature, as well as the famous places where Japanese life takes place. Shinji Tsuchimochi is the author of a collection of illustrations: "The 100 views of Tokyo", a book tribute to the capital of Japan.

But he is also passionate about Franco-Belgian comics, more precisely for the works of Moebius and Hergé.
